This screen printed textile artwork was produced by Paige in 2021 as part of the Playtime collection.

The playtime collection celebrates Paige’s hometown of Thamesmead in South East London. A town that until recent years was under loved and underfunded. The town has been home to three generations of her family. The prints in the playtime series are inspired by play through the last 50 years. Thinking about what play looked like in Thamesmead when her nan moved to the newly established town, when her mum was growing up and how it was through Paige’s childhood.

Using her signature style of cut and pasting shapes, pattern and texture, Paige created thoughtful compositions that were screen printed in her London based studio onto reclaimed fabric.

The artwork is 1/1 edition, signed and dated by the artist.
